Post-Doctoral Fellows

CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute welcomes young researchers with excellent academic backgrounds, who are committed to pursue geoscience as a career by providing a platform in the Institute to conduct cutting edge research with state of the art equipment, conducive academic environment, opportunities to work with outstanding scientists and lively residential facility. Candidates who wish to take up Post-Doctoral fellowships like CSIR Senior Research Associateship (Pool) scheme, CSIR-RA, CSIR-Nehru Science Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship, DST-INSPIRE Faculty, DST-NPDF, DST-WOS, may write to potential mentors in the Institute. After securing their consent, they may write to SAC (sac[at]ngri[dot]res[dot]in) along with an application(in the prescribed format  size:( 0.45 MB)) online through the links, which will be active throughout the year. The candidate will be required to make a presentation highlighting his/her proposed work plan. On acceptance of the proposal, the candidate will be issued the necessary Letter from CSIR-NGRI, which he/she may use for the application for the Fellowship.
