The CSIR-NGRI has developed an efficient and cost-effective method for monitoring Earth's magnetic field at the Choutuppal (CPL) and Hyderabad (HYB) observatories using Python-based software. This system quickly transmits high-resolution data to the Edinburgh Geomagnetic Information Network (GIN) in less than five minutes, providing a "real-time" view of magnetic activity. The software displays the first differences for every second of each component at the Hyderabad and Choutuppal Magnetic Observatories. This rapid data processing is essential for predicting space weather and protecting satellites and power grids from solar storms. Additionally, the new Python-based software incorporates AI to visualize the data automatically, enhancing the accuracy of geomagnetic research and space weather forecasting. These advancements at CPL and HYB are set to transform the processing, forecasting, and visualization of geomagnetic data. By improving both the accuracy and accessibility of these data, It is aimed to revolutionize geomagnetic research, making it more precise, accessible, and actionable.
