Research Area

Dr M. Shekar received B.Sc and M.Sc (Applied Electronics) degrees from the Osmania University, Ph.D is in Geophysics from Osmania University. Currently working as Principal Scientist in seismology group as instrumentation since March 2004. Dr Shekar’s research areas include installation, operation of seismic stations and seismic noise studies. He has done number of field works for aftershock studies, site response studies, crustal deformation(GPS) and pore pressure studies.
